Reminder about Walking on FI Club Course in the Off Season
The Fishers Island Sportsman’s Club leases the golf course and other club lands from FIDCO for shooting during the off-season, Nov 1-March 1.
FI Recreational Path Foundation Summer 2024 Update
It’s been a busy winter of repair and maintenance on the Rec Path. If you and your family use and appreciate the Path, we ask that you consider a larger donation than usual because of these recent high outlays.
Rec Path Committee’s Wilderness Road Improvements
Rec Path Committee improvements at Wilderness Road includes selective tree and rock removal to improve sight lines, targeted 2’ road widening to maintain a minimum of 11’ for cars and 6’ for rec path uses, and road painting and signage to reinforce road sharing awareness.
Rec Path Bridges to be Temporarily Closed this Winter for Repairs
Bridges will be under repair this winter and will be closed one at a time starting Wednesday, December 13.
