Bike Sticker Request Form
A FIDCO Sticker is a temporary license to operate a vehicle on (Private) East End roads according to the guidelines set forth below. Vehicles and bicycles will not be allowed on the East End without a FIDCO sticker or FIDCO Guest Pass. Motorcycles, Mopeds, ATV’s, Roller Blades, Skateboards, Baby Carriages, and Strollers are not permitted on the East End Road.
Sticker Fees for 2018
- East End Property Owners $175 per car
- West End Property Owners $265 per car
- All Island Renters $265 per car
- Year Round Residents (must have ferry card) $40 per car
- Bicycles : FREE
- Guests: Two 5 day passes per guest vehicle: Free (please see rules and regulations below)
Commercial Vehicles (Contracting, Catering, Cleaning, Caretaking, Delivery and Real Estate)
A. Light Duty (Cars, SUV’s, Vans and Pickups): $335 per vehicle
B. Heavy Duty (Trucks): $450 per vehicle
Commercial Day Pass
A. Light Duty (Cars, SUV’s, Vans and Pickups): $65 per day
B. Heavy Duty (Trucks, Trailers, Backhoes): $125 per day
C. Oversize Vehicles (Tri Axle, Concrete Mixers, Bulldozers, Dumpsters): $300 per day
Main Road Speed Limit – 30 MPH
Dirt Road Speed Limit –15 MPH
Individual applications must be filled out in entirety for each vehicle or bicycle to be used on the Island. Vehicle license plate numbers are required. Stickers must be affixed to the upper right hand corner of the windshield. For rental cars, a regular sticker will be used and must be affixed on the upper right hand corner of the vehicle. Stickers will be removed by the Gate House staff before the rental vehicle leaves the Island.
Bicycle stickers can be obtained at the Gate House and are free of charge for all residents and renters (proof of lease will be required). Bicycle stickers are used to identify members of the Island Community as they pass through the FIDCO security gate to use the Recreational Path. F.I. Bike sticker request form Stickers must be affixed to the bicycle and will not be issued for daily-rental bicycles. Waivers to use the Recreational Path must be signed by people 18 and over. F.I. Bicycle waiver Parents are required to sign waivers for children under 18 and a parent or a parent appointed person over age 14 must accompany children under 10 on the Recreational Path. All NY State Bicycle Rules will be enforced.
The Recreational Path is only open during daylight hours.
Guest Passes: Residents are responsible for the actions of their guests on FIDCO property. Please see that your guests are aware of speed limits and rules and regulations regarding use of FIDCO roads and the Recreational Path.
Guest Passes can be obtained at the Gate House and are required for all automobiles of visitors and house guests. If you are a renter, you are Not a guest. Guest passes are free of charge. Residents who purchase stickers must make the request for guest passes. Your guest is allowed two 5-day passes per vehicle. If the guest exceeds the two 5 day pass limit they will be required to purchase a FIDCO sticker. Guests can pick up a prearranged guest pass at the Gate House during Gate House operating hours. Guest passes must be returned to the Gate house when the car leaves the Island. A return slot is provided at the Gate House. Please note when obtaining a pass for your guest you must know the make, model, license plate and color of the vehicle.
FIDCO stickers may be purchased with cash, check or credit card (Visa and MasterCard only). Checks should be made payable to FIDCO and mailed with one application for each vehicle to FIDCO, Box 604, Fishers Island, NY 06390. All stickers must be picked up at the gate upon arrival, they will no longer be available at the Utility office.
2018 stickers are required to be on vehicles after February 28th. Stickers and Guest passes will be available at the gate during normal business hours.
FIDCO reserves the right to withdraw privileges to operate a vehicle on East End roads of any violators of the guidelines governing stickers and/or guest passes. Laws for NY State Private Roads are strictly applied.
